A couple of months ago, my dear friend, Kim, asked me if I would take her engagement photos. I've known Kim for years, when we met through a mutual friend. We were home schooled together, taking classes like LFG, choir, and Co-op. We even went to EFY together. There, we would skip classes with my sister, Rachel, and my friend, Erica. Kim would hide in a garbage can, and the rest of us would watch and laugh as Kim would jump out and scare kids who were passing by. At the OK Go concert we went to together last December, Kim bought one of OK Go's vinyl records, simply because it was awesome, and not so much because she could listen to it. This girl has always had fantastic style. Not style that you see everyday, but fantastic. She met Dustin a year or two back, and they've fallen in love since. They've recently started their own business in Salt Lake City, selling Indian food from their tiny food stand on the sidewalk. Did I mention that Kim cooks amaaaazing Indian food? Dustin is in the Military, and he's home for the next year and a half. They are to be married tomorrow! I'm so excited for this lady and her man! Enjoy the pictures!

matt, steph & aiden.
It's been a while, and I've been super busy with lots of things, but mostly school. But last Saturday I got to take pictures of my brother, Matt, and his wife, Stephanie, and their ADORABLE son, Aiden.
Matt's my favorite brother, and last May, they moved to San Francisco. But just recently they moved back to Utah, so I'm happy that I get to see them more often.
We went to the castle in Provo (did anyone know there was a castle in Provo?!) and had a blast. Aiden was being super cute and smily, and I took about 30 pictures of him within about 2 minutes because he was running around and being cute. Here they are:

women of beauty.
I recently had the oppurtunity to be one of the 5 photographers that helped out with a friend's project. My friend, Amy, who lives in my ward, had this idea of teaching a class about how women don't need tons of make up, hours at the gym and plastic surgery to look beautiful; women look beautiful just the way they are. For the class, she wanted to make a video/slide show of pictures of different women of all ages who look naturally pretty. My job was to photograph some of the women. The six girls I got were from about 12-23. I knew three of them. The other three I had just met at the photoshoot. It was so much fun, and I was laughing about half the time. I blame my sister for that. Check out my favorite shots I got!

rob & brittany: engagements.
Haha, jokes. They're not engaged. This was actually the first time these two met, and they pulled it off quite well, if I do say so myself. Brittany was in my ward down at school, and she met Rob through a mutual friend. When we decided to go shooting, I told her that I really wanted to shoot a couple, and that she should invite a guy friend, so she brought Rob.
These two were hilarious to shoot. They were always making funny faces, dancing, or just posing awkwardly. They made the photoshoot fun, and we all loved it! Even though it was raining (my camera was so wet!), we got quite a few good shots, and had fun! Enjoy.

emily.
Meet Emily. She's my best friend, and has been since we were in Kindergarten together. We have a lot of similar styles and tastes, but a lot of different ones too. We like to have fun and take pictures of each other, because we're both into Photography. Last week, we went downtown and took turns shooting each other. These are my favorites I took of her.
