colors on campus.

It's Fall, and the leaves are different colors, and I love that. I especially love walking to my classes underneath dozens of trees, who shed thousands of yellow and orange leaves. My favorite season by far is Autumn.

24th of july parade.

Here in Utah, we celebrate Pioneer Day. It's the day the LDS Pioneers arrived in the Salt Lake Valley, on July 24th, 1847. The parade that goes on in downtown Salt Lake City is called the Days of '47 Parade, and it's a huge deal to us Utahns.
This year, I went with my mom, my aunt Pam, my grandma Alice, my sister Sara, my sister-in-law Stephanie, and my two buddies from EFY came along, too. We had fun, but they didn't throw out candy...

my best friend.

My best friend, Emily, and I went on a photo shoot at The Avenues downtown a few days ago, and got some really great pictures of each other. These are some of my favorites I shot of her.

My niece was born just a week ago, and I've already taken dozens of pictures of her. She's a good model. This is Brooke Marie, born on the 5th of July, 2009. 7 pounds, 6 ouces, 19 1/2 inches long.

four children of god.

I was at the park the other day, and these four children let me take pictures of them. I love taking pictures of children because their complexion is so perfect, and their eyes are so big and beautiful, filled with the light of Christ. I love how they always have food around their mouths from eating, and I love how their hair is just a little messy. I really love their freckles too. Kids are just cute, and so I photograph them.

my firsts.

I just recently bought a digital SLR camera, and I love it to death. Before I had it, though, I used my digital point-and-shoot. Even though I like the effects of my SLR better, I've got to admit that my point-and-shoot did take pretty decent pictures...

Number one.

I was outside in my backward noticing the flowers that were growing all around. I thought to myself, I should take some pictures of these! This is the best one I took.

Number two.

This one was taken at Las Vegas in a parking garage. That's the New York, New York roller coaster.

Number three.

I took this while at work. I was at the library, and I saw this awesome IFA factory right across the street. I thought it would be a good idea to get the fire hydrant in there, too.

Number four.

I was out and about by a lake about twenty minutes from my house, and I took a ton of pictures of it. This was my favorite one.

Number five.

On our cruise a few months ago, we stopped in San Francisco and visited the island of Alcatraz. This isn't my favorite picture I took, but other people seem to like it the most.
