Here in Utah, we celebrate Pioneer Day. It's the day the LDS Pioneers arrived in the Salt Lake Valley, on July 24th, 1847. The parade that goes on in downtown Salt Lake City is called the Days of '47 Parade, and it's a huge deal to us Utahns.
This year, I went with my mom, my aunt Pam, my grandma Alice, my sister Sara, my sister-in-law Stephanie, and my two buddies from EFY came along, too. We had fun, but they didn't throw out candy...
